So...Life has been up and down and all around for me these past 5 years. For one, it took me a long time to remember I had one of these accounts! I think my last post was from when I was a student in Japan, so I'll continue from there I guess.

In 2006 I went to Gifu, Japan to study Japanese and basically go and run about in a new country and get drunk. I had a great time there and I must say I've never studied so much in my entire life.

I came back in 2007 and decided to complete my 4th year at university. Now this at first I thought would be a bad decision...but it turned out to be the most rewarding year of my academic life. I worked on a music video project as my honours project and I taught myself alot of new skills and enjoyed creating a funky piece of work. I learned alot about branding and animation and just generally keeping a good work flow going.

I ended up graduating with a 1st class honors in Computer Arts and I received an extra special award at my degree show from the Computer Game Company Real Time Worlds "Best Visual Design" of which made my year just...sublime.

However!

I did either a very smart thing, or a very stupid thing... I moved to Japan to become an English teacher. I think its smart because I'm not sure where I want life to take me just yet...and living in another country influenced me in so many ways last time..that I wanted the opportunity to try again. I love my life here but really...I regret the amount of work I do in my personal time.

I really should stop thinking and start doing. Although the kids I teach are the cutest ever and are always happy to receive little sketches and pamphlets with my work on it.

So thats about it for the past few years. I enjoy my life as an English teacher but I think of myself as much more. I love to see new exhibits, travel, doodle and dream of things that one day could be possible for me.

From now on, I'm going to try and create alot more work, bad or good and give it my best in attaining my dreams. For if I dont...then they will just run away and I'll always live in regret.

Please feel free to comment on the work I've recently uploaded. The more I receive the more inspired I will probably be. (I'm one of those... not very confident people...I really should have more confidence in my work!).

Shall hopefully continue to upload work as I feel this is a new start.
